Modern tower located right in Baku, the interior and service were unmatched.
Arrival & First Impressions
Much like the rest of Baku, the hotel was exceptionally modern, clean, and luxurious.
The Rooms
The staff there gave me a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment for my stay of about 2 weeks. It was literally an apartment and was massive. Full size living room with a sectional couch, a huge kitchen with a built in espresso machine and grinder, a guest bathroom, a full bathroom included in the masters suite with a kind bed and plenty of closet space.
Dining & Amenities
Similar to many Ritz properties, they had a wonderful cigar lounge that I spent a lot of time in, indoor pool and large gym, a restaurant, and a beautiful lobby.
Atmosphere & Service
Typical of RC, the service was unmatched. I became friends with many of the staff during my time here, sharing instagrams etc and keeping up with each other. They all made me feel like family and that's what makes all the difference. A friend of mine from the Ritz Carlton actually reached out to the team here and shared my profile, upon my arrival to my room, they had a custom cigar dessert waiting for me and that was one of the most thoughtful things I've experienced. Talk about personalized service!
Everything from the tea, desserts, and service were incredible. One of my absolute favorites was the Badambura, a traditional Azerbaijani dessert.
As for the lobby, traditional tea service served daily along with nice music played on the beautiful Whaletone piano (just look up the cost of one.) I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back.
