Sailing the Lady Lynsey in 2024

The Lady Lynsey is a 65' luxury catamaran that's partnered with the Ritz Carlton in Red Hook, St. Thomas, USVI. (Pictures of the hotel can be found in the travelers quarters section.)

This sailboat was absolutely beautiful, it was christened at the Ritz Carlton during the grand reopening and is renowned for being one of the finest sailing catamarans in the world. The new one was built on the legacy of the original Lady Lynsey which served guests from the hotel for over 20 years. She was built in St. Croix at Gold Coast Yachts and includes two restrooms along with ample seating and table space.

I did two sails on her while at the St. Thomas Ritz for my first time, one was a sunset sail which included an open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres with a tour near St. John and Lovango Cay. The second sail was a full day sail, departing from the beach at the hotel in the late morning, we sailed over to Maho bay for beach time and snorkeling. It was an awesome experience, I got to see sea turtles munching on sea grass on the ocean floor there at Maho bay along with tons of fish and sea urchins the size of basket balls with spikes coming out that were a foot long. After snorkeling at Maho bay, we got back on the catamaran and had a great lunch of pasta salad, grilled chicken, salad, pita and spreads, and more rum punches from the open bar on board. We left Maho bay and sailed over to Lovango Cay where we snorkeled some more and then sailed on back to the hotel sipping on more rum punches, it was a miracle I and everyone else actually made it off the front stairs of the boat, however, a time was definitely had. What an incredible experience.
