My thoughts of The Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas

Beach resort located on the east side of the St. Thomas island in Red Hook. I was first here in summer of 24' and returned in 26' with my son. The hotel is located right on a private cove where you can see out at St. John.
Upon arrival, you'll notice a dual driveway of red bricks with a lion fountain in the middle, you take the left side under the porte-cochere where you'll notice the "lobby" is completely open air meaning there's no doors to actually open, you just step right in.
So, each time ive been here, ive booked a standard king room but with my status have gotten fantastic upgrades each time. The first time was a club level King ocean view suite and the second time was a club level ocean front suite. Located in the club building which is the furthest building away and with the best views, it hosts the best rooms of the property. The suites are extremely spacious with 2 full bathrooms with marble walk in showers, a large living room with sectional couch and large sitting chair, there's also a dining nook with couch and table. Moving into the main bedroom, there's a king bed with another couch and table as well as two very large balconies that overlook the cove and the resort itself.
Dining the second time here was much better. The first time I was here, "Sails" was under construction so I was unable to eat there and the other restaurants were just not that great. This time, Sails was open and the food was great. Everything from the jerk chicken to grilled caesar wraps and ceviche were fresh and really good. They were also churning out fantastic drinks throughout the stay. The breakfast restaurant really improved as well, my son and I both really enjoyed pancakes and French toast that were made with local mango compote and fresh berries, respectively. The rest of the breakfast menu was good as well including the omelettes.
I thought service really improved the second round as well compared to the first time. On this trip, my son and I got to meet Mani who stood out to me the most, I really appreciated his friendly and warm demeanor and hope to see him again the next time I come stay.
